Last Tuesday we started Languege School! My parents tutor is Madame Plante. Madame Plante is helping my parents learn different things that will help them in the church. The girls and I do school at her kitchen table. I had a great time doing school at her house! Silas took his nap in his pack-and-play. He took a long nap and then he woke up. Me and the girls each took turns watching him. Today made our 3rd day doing school at Madame Plante's house. This morning Madame Plante had cookies and juice waiting for us to eat while we did school! MMM!!! ( There were no cookies for Mom and Dad :) We have had a great time doing school. The girls and I are also taking French Lessons. Madame Roy is teaching us French every Wendesday night before church, for an hour. We have almost completed our first French textbook!!! Our first unit was on Legumes( Vegetables). J'aime manger le concombre, la tomate , et le pomme de terre( In English: I like to eat cucumber, tomatoes , and potatoes.) Our second unit was on les jours.(the days) Une semaine a sept jours.(One week has seven days.) Our third unit was on le corps( the body) Voici une fille avec les cheveux vert.(here is a girl with green hair!) Voici un homme. Il a des grands yeux!( here is a man. He has big eyes!) Our new unit is Le Temps.(the weather). This book has 4 units,......so we are almost done with our first textbook! I have had a great time learning French!
