The Last Resort

Last Friday I woke up at 5:40 to go camping!!! My Dad and me were going camping with Pastor Roy and his son, Benjamin in Jackman ,Maine at the Last Resort campground. Friday was very rainy but we still had a great time. On Friday we went fishing and caught many fish and cooked five of them for a snack. They were delicious!!! Pastor started to dry his soaking wet socks over the fire and my Dad thought it was a great idea so he decided to dry his socks as well. I couldn't stand the smell of their stinky socks and feet. It was the worst thing you have ever smelled ( just joking , I really couldn't smell it with all the smoke we had.) After drying their socks they both ended up with holes in their socks! Saturday was a great , sunny day. We had a great breakfast of bacon and scrambled eggs. Then we had the greatest devotion I have ever heard . It was amazing !!! ( Well , actually I did the devotion : ) We went fishing and went for a great hike where we found a huge Blueberry patch. We stuffed ourselves!!! I had a great time playing with my buddy , Benjamin , in the woods! It was a great time and I hope we will be able to do it again sometime.

When I was little we would go blackberry pickin' and I loved eating from the blackberry bushes. The blueberries and raspberries look yummy. Wish I could have heard you devotion too.
