Today we went to a hiking trail a few blocks down from our house. It was great!!! We started at 10:45 a.m. and started walking down the trail. It is so nice on the trails. I felt like we were in the middle of a big forest.........even though we were in the middle of Quebec city. We brought a little lunch of peanut butter and jelly. The girls and I found a little trail off the main trail. It was about a foot in width. Me and the girls followed the trail until we came to a big opening next to the river.It was so neat to explore all of the little area! That was my favorite part of our day. It was a great day. We ended at 1:15 p.m. We believe that we walked 5 miles. It will be a day that I will remember.
