Today me and the girls read our Bibles and prayed together for devotions. We read Judges 7 and 8, the story of Gideon. The girls and I took turns reading one verse at a time. It was neat to read God's word with my sisters. Every morning I read my Bible and pray before doing my chores. This is commanded to be done by every one of God's children every day. Too many Christians today are only reading their Bibles when the preacher reads his text for the Sunday morning's message. This is very sad to know that almost every church has at least one person doing this. I am thankful I was taught to read my Bible and pray every morning. Reading your Bible and praying is a key to having a good day every day. We need to make sure that we are reading our Bibles and praying every day.
