Yard Work......Already!!!
5:17 PM
The snow has all melted and our days as winter "hermits" are over. Our neighbors have come out of hibernation as well. (During the winter all, I mean all, the kids had disappeared, and let me say.... they weren't kidnapped!) People are all over the streets and yards in our neighborhood. People are raking, cutting, and pruning everything in their yards! So Mom and Dad thought us kids should join the "fun". ( I like yard work, but it is the first two days of spring!) So we labored from sun-up to sun-down as little slaves..... our arms ached, we couldn't walk another step......and then our task-masters stood and told us " Don't forget the flower beds!" (Okay, maybe it's a little exageration.)
We let our pile of leaves from the fall sit through the winter,....now our hands are dyed yellow, orange, and brown!

This is the Task Master (Dad) speaking......I just wanted to congratulate you on your 1 hour of yard work you did a couple of days ago!
Don't worry though, there's more work in the yard to be done and I have my whip ready to make sure you get it done!
Awww you poor thing, does Grandma need to come up there to rescue my precious grandbabies from the torturous slave driver???
It looks really good, the work you've done. Can't wait till I come up there.
Love and miss you,
Love, Grandma
p.s. how's the book coming?
