Our Christmas Tree!

Christmas is finally here! Christmas is my favorite time of year. It has snowed the past two days, here in Canada, but at the end of every day it all melts! Our snow for today has almost totally melted! I can't wait till it's here to stay....... I am ,truly, dreaming of a white Christmas!
On Monday we put up our Christmas tree! It is a beutiful Christmas tree and it smells excellent! I love the smell of real Christmas trees....... This year we went with green and white lights and teal colored balls. We have decorated the whole house! We set up our ceremic town! (It looks pretty poor, though, because of all the times we've dropped the people and buildings!).

Silas enjoys pulling the balls off the trees and sucking on some of our gifts!( Elisabeth and Dad went Christmas shopping last night). He has already swallowed some of the fallen needles from the tree! Silas's new thing is to open up our junk drawer and pull everything out and throw it on the ground making a big mess. Silas has learned many new things, he has learned to walk, he has learned to repeat sounds, and he has learned to turn off the computer while you are posting.
Every year we open up our Christmas boxes and pull out our decorations. We have dated our ornaments from over the years. The oldest one is dated 1993, before my Mom and Dad were married! I love Christmas!

Hi Josh, so glad I can post on your blog. Love the new look. I am like you.....I love Christmas, I love everything about it, the scent of a real tree, the business of crowded shoppers, the food, the lights and all the decorations and of course let's not forget the true meaning of CHRISTmas.

p.s. soon the snow will be up to the porch and you'll be able to make a snow fort....you'll love it.
